Pure HeavenTuesday, February 02, 2010Sitting on the dock in the Intercoastal Waterway in New Smyrna Beach Florida watching the sun set. There are dolphins jumping out of the water, pelicans sitting next to me on the dock and the sunset is a kaleidoscope of purple, pink, orange, yellow and red. I am in the midst of heaven on earth as I sit on my brother's dock this evening. This is such a gift after the cold gray months at our farm in the North Georgia mountains. I forgot how glorious it feels to have the sun warm my body and the sweet smell of this cool salt water. I leave tomorrow to head back to the cold days at home but this short trip has given me a glimpse of hope for the spring. February is the "in between" month, ending of the cold and a morsel of warm spring days. Several more dolphins just jumped up out of the water right in front of me. I know this is the Divine presence as I watch these awing creatures dance over the water and smile my way. February is hope. Dophins are pure hope and reveal pure magic,or should i say heaven on earth.
