international women's day, #BeBoldForChange

Revolution isn’t for the fainthearted. Important rights that were long denied to women (such as the right to vote) were not given but fought for. It took tenacity and innumerable sacrifices. Now it’s up to us. Today, women and men are fighting together for “a more inclusive, gender equal world.” This is the year for International Women’s Day, we must #BeBoldForChange.

While millions of people will be celebrating on March 8th, many festivals, talks, marches, and other events will be held throughout the week. You can find out more information about local events in your community on the official International Women’s Day website. Listed below are a few examples.
