About The Stress Institute
“The single greatest threat to our lives is not the terrorists putting poison in the water, or the pollution in the air: The greatest threat to our lives is our lifestyle…”

- Individuals – Stress is the epidemic of the 21st century and is the driver for most diseases. Stress impacts your mental and physical health. We provide research- based solutions to reduce stress, create health and live mindfully.
- Companies – Job stress costs U.S. industry $300 billion annually as a result of accidents, absenteeism, employee turnover and diminished productivity. Research tells us; 80% of workers feel stress on the job and say they need help in learning how to manage stress, 40% of job turnover is due to stress, 60-80% of accidents on the job are stress related, violence is an increasingly serious problem and 90% of physician visits are stress related. We offer information, training, and keynotes to support your employees in their journey to stress reduction, stress resilience and mindfulness.
- Families – Children mirror our stress; both mentally and physically. Our children have their own stressors, as well, which are being manifested by: over scheduling, testing, peer-pressure, bullying, teachers and school. Children are better equipped to handle life events when they have stress reduction and mindfulness tools.
