What a blessing last night was. I was invited to attend a meeting for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights which is being established in Atlanta. These people brought me to tears with their holy commitment for the civil and human rights of all people.

As a woman who stood up in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s for all human and civil rights, whether it was marching in Washington DC, or Georgia, or Texas, or anywhere around the world, I am committed with my heart and soul to these principles. It is such a gift to see such an amazing group of people from around the world gather to construct a destination where all people can come to listen, learn, and work to transform our world.

I am so grateful that in my lifetime I am blessed to witness the creation of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, here in Atlanta, Georgia. I hope you get the opportunity to see it.
